Take immediate action against them.
Horrendous!! First they promised to pay me for my iPhone as a trade in, but then told me that my phone is missing, so they won’t pay me unless I upload a lot of personal information!!
So I’m reporting it stolen. Then nobody and I mean nobody is available to talk to. They sold me a defective laptop, and refused to take responsibility for it.
Very dodgy people in my experience. Never again!
I purchased a MacBook Pro in march. It did not download the updates, then it failed to load pages.
It wont download from iCloud either.
When I eventually get into a program, it quits suddenly. I cannot use this laptop, it is clearly defective, and I cannot get hold of you.

Hello i ordered the package for my wifes birthday I was waiting in my house for the package all morning and when I have received it I had gave it to my wife and she opened it and nothing was inside I am very disappointed This is a really important issue I spent a lot of money on this phone for it can come today on time for my wifes birthday and I have talk to an backmarket agent about my issue she asked my for many absurd things like a picture of my personal id and government papers which I gave to solve this issue as I had no choice my then she told me to go to the police station and tell them about it which insane I should not be liable for you guys mess ups she said she already contacted the police I have my own right to chose I would look crazy if I go in there complaining that my box came in empty and also I am in wheelchair so going would be an inconvenience to me as I would have to call a ride there and back which is about $30 trip so $60 total please I just want some type of solution to help me out i am out of a phone and money you can contact me at ***

Im writing regarding a phone I recently purchased from you which has developed serious faults within a very short time, and I have been unable to access customer support through your usual channels.
Within the first week of use, the phone began showing screen burn issues. More recently, Ive been receiving messages stating that the battery is not recognised, which makes the device unreliable and not fit for normal use.
I have tried repeatedly to contact customer service, but Ive been unable to do so because my order is not appearing in my account.
The system instructs me to go to Orders and select Help, however there is no order visible for me to select. I have also attempted to contact you via email multiple times, using different email addresses and phone numbers, and the outcome has been the same each time.
This situation is very frustrating, as I currently have a faulty device and no accessible way to resolve the issue through your support platform.
Given that the phone developed faults so soon after purchase, I would like this matter resolved promptly.
I am requesting either:a full refund, ora replacement phone of reliable, top-quality condition.
Please advise on the next steps and how I can return the faulty device. Im happy to provide proof of purchase, device details, or any additional information you may need to locate the order.

They said that the ultra slim ps3 that i bought was in good condition and professionally cleaned in refurbished condition, yet it was freezing, overheating and the disk lens wasnt even reading my gaming disks, and i opened it up myself and it was full of dust and bacteria everywhere, as if it hadnt been cleaned in years, and now one of my games are stuck in the disk drive, and i am very, very unhappy with all of this.

So I ordered a macbook pro, it arrived with WRONG SPECS, you FALSLEY ADVERTISED and sent me the macbook pro i paid for however the internals are different. For this I want compensation.
I received the macbook and it was faulty constantly crashing, I even went and returned it on the same day via post. Then after it supposedly has been repaired. I have just received it back after waiting another week. And it is still broken they said it was because of an operating system! They are talking rubbish, I want you to end your business with bitz for all as this was the seller and they are selling dodgy product. I also want compensating due to being out of work with no laptop because of you guys for almost 2 WEEKS!!!
I sent the laptop back to be repaired. I was patient. Now I am not accepting this, I want a FULL REFUND of my Money and COMPENSATING.
So you either refund me and fully compensate me aswell for my loss of work and for false advertising aswell as compensating me for having to wait for a repair which was NOT carried out or else I will file a lawsuit against back market and go directly to my solicitors.

And not doing the right due diligence on the products as a company before shipping them out to customers.

- Bought Nov 2024; display issue under warranty, replacement Aug 2025, same defect; Jan 2026 written refund and extended warranty, later reversed.
I purchased a MacBook from Back Market in November 2024. The device developed a display issue within the warranty period, and it was replaced in August 2025.
Unfortunately, the replacement device later developed the exact same display defect. When I contacted customer support again in January 2026, I was explicitly informed in writing by Back Market Customer Care that:
The replacement had been issued within three months of the original warranty expiry.
The warranty was therefore automatically extended.
I was eligible for a full refund due to repeated defects.
A return label had been requested to process the refund.
Based on this clear confirmation, I reasonably relied on their decision and purchased an alternative device. However, I was later contacted again and told that the refund had been rejected internally, that the issue was now considered outside warranty, and that only limited goodwill options were available. This directly contradicted the earlier written approval and caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and financial disruption.
The main issue here is not just the faulty device, but the inconsistent and unreliable customer service.
Approving a full refund in writing and then reversing that decision without justification is unacceptable and deeply disappointing.
I am still seeking resolution and have sent email to the relevant departments i.e.
legal and CX Support departments, to have the originally approved refund honored, along with appropriate compensation for the time, inconvenience, and impact caused by this handling. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential buyers to be cautious and to keep detailed records of all communications.
